In the first quarter of 2024, the iOS virtual fitness landscape in Australia has shown varying trends across top applications. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look into how these apps have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a revenue range starting at roughly $101K in the first week of January and saw a peak at $111K in mid-March. Downloads for the app fluctuated around 10K to 14K, while weekly active users showed a consistent trend, staying around the 170K mark.

Kic: Health, Fitness & Recipes showed a declining trend in revenue from $87K to $34K by the end of March. Downloads decreased from approximately 2.3K in the first week of January to under 1K towards the end of March, with weekly active users seeing a slight decline from 3.9K to 3.4K.

For Runna: Running Training Plans, the revenue started at around $26K and experienced a mid-quarter boost to nearly $43K. Downloads began at close to 5K and dipped to just over 2K by the end of the quarter, while weekly active users hovered around the 9K to 11K range.

The app STEPN had an interesting quarter with revenue starting at $20K, spiking to $116K in mid-January, and then settling at around $30K by the end of March. Downloads were minimal, with the highest being 272 in early January, and weekly active users ranged from 600 to 900.

Lastly, Fitbit: Health & Fitness showed a more stable revenue pattern, starting at $36K and experiencing a slight increase to $38K in late February before ending the quarter at approximately $31K. Downloads were consistent, with numbers staying around the 2K to 4K mark, and weekly active users remained strong, with a high of 62K in late March.
